Project: Full dangerous and hazardous goods evaluation MCE conducted an ongoing evaluation of the Qantas Essendon training facility and the entire sphere of operations of Qantas and its affiliate airlines at Brisbane Airport.

Client: QANTAS DEFENCE SERVICES

Project: Inspections - ongoing inspection audits and reporting for compliance with Australian Standards, WorkCover requirements and dangerous goods regulations for package stores, cylinder stores, aboveground tanks. The report suggested license upgrades and storage changes relating to the application of Australian Standards.
Further details: MCE has been engaged by Qantas Defence Services to undertake a full dangerous and hazardous goods evaluation of their engine maintenance and electroplating facility in Bankstown. General dangerous goods handling advice relating to compatible products, separation and housekeeping activities is included in the scope along with recommendation of contractors for undertaking rectification works at the facility. In addition, MCE are undertaking a complete design project for the rectification of air-flow control within the electroplating facility comprising individual airflow balancing of approximately 50 electroplating baths.

Client: HAWKER DE HAVILLAND/BOEING

Project: Project manager for various upgrades and testing relating to the manufacture of aircraft and components. This including a review of ventilation, environment and testing and new system design; as well as the assessment of over 50 dangerous goods storage cabinets and the implementation of a safety management system to ensure safe and compliant chemical storage was maintained. We will now conduct annual audits onsite to ensure the system is maintained.

Client: CANBERRA AIRPORT

Project: MCE are the Project Design superintend for the construction phase of a fuel storage and dispensing facility at Canberra International Airport. MCE is providing design, construction and assessment on behalf of Canberra Airport to ensure that the final output of the construction phase is a compliant and functional fuel storage and handling system.
